    I told the heir I would accept out of state Letters Testamentary, just for the redemption, then record those originals and hand carry them to the Court for his benefit.

    He lives in TX.

    As of this afternoon, no response, so I may be recording that TD by Friday afternoon.

    Yes, if you would share with association, I may gather some insight…

    I don’t think you have any option outside of the 5 months – past the 5 months. I’d be very hesitant to give more rights than allowed by law to one person (heir) vs. tax lien investor.

    The treasurer may sign such treasurer’s deed at any time after the time specified therefor in such notice if no redemption has then been made, if the signing of such deed is within five months from the service of said notice as required in section 39-11-128.
